Switching to FloristGrow: we move your product text over for you.
We move your products over from your current website for you, free, whatever it’s built on. You connect your own web address and set your rules. Here is what moves, what does not, and what happens in what order.

Before you cancel anything
Check three things with your current provider, in writing if you can.
- Your notice period, and what you owe until it ends.
- Who owns your domain name, and how to get it released.
- Whether you can export your products, photos and customer list.
Keep your old site running until your new shop is open and tested.
What happens, in order
- You become a founding florist. We’re opening FloristGrow to independent UK florists ahead of a public launch.
- We create your shop. It gets its own web address on floristgrow.co.uk, a security certificate, and its own space for your products.
- You connect Stripe. A quick check with Stripe, who handle the payments: your business details and your bank details, and possibly photo ID.
- We move your products over. From your current website, for you, free, whatever it’s built on. We do it ourselves, by hand where we need to.
- Your photos. We move the text. You add your own photos from your original files, and confirm they are yours as you upload them.
- You add your card. Let us finish moving your products before you add your card. Your 30-day free trial starts when you add a card, whether or not your shop is open yet, so we suggest finishing Stripe’s checks first. Cancel in the portal before it ends and you pay nothing.
- You set your rules. Delivery areas, cut-off times, closed dates, bank holidays, collection, opening hours.Delivery and collection
- You design the shop. Colours, fonts, logo, homepage, pages, journal. Nothing goes public until you publish.Your shop website and design
- You open it. The “Open your shop” checklist shows what is missing and then opens the shop.
- You connect your own domain when you are ready, so customers find you at the address they already know.
You can do these in the order that suits you. We do not promise a go-live time.
We offer founding florists 1:1 sessions to help them get set up, arranged with you.

What moves, and what does not
What moves: your product names, descriptions, prices and categories, from your current website while it is still online. We move the text. You add your own photos from your original files, and confirm they are yours as you upload them. You check everything before your shop opens.
What does not:
- Your Google rankings. We do not move them, and we do not offer to migrate search rankings from an old site.
- Your customer lists and order history. They are not part of the move.
- A go-live time. We do not promise one.
We do not move everything, and we will not say we do.
Keep your customer list yourself; please do not send it to us.
How the move works
You tell us where your current website is, and we take it from there. We move the product text ourselves, so there is nothing for you to install. We bring it across as it was on your site. If something looks wrong, tell us.
On photos: we move the text. You add your own photos from your original files, and confirm they are yours as you upload them. The platform agreement explains this.

Questions
Do you charge to move over?
No. The move is free, and there is no setup fee.
While the founding offer is open, we create your shop on the founding rate of £74.25 a month, for as long as your subscription runs. Our standard price is £99 a month. Your rate is fixed when we create your shop, not when you join the list. We can close the offer to new florists at any time; once you have the rate, closing it changes nothing for you. Both prices are before VAT. We do not charge VAT today; if we register for VAT, it will be added on top, with at least 30 days’ written notice.
Your 30-day free trial starts when you add a card, whether or not your shop is open yet, so we suggest finishing Stripe’s checks first. Cancel in the portal before it ends and you pay nothing.
What do you move for me?
Your product names, descriptions, prices and categories, from your current website while it is still online. We move the text. You add your own photos from your original files, and confirm they are yours as you upload them. We do not move your Google rankings, your customer lists or your order history.
What if my site is on BloomScribe, FloristPro or another platform?
We move your products over from your current website for you, free, whatever it’s built on. We do it ourselves, by hand where we need to.
What about my photos?
We move the text. You add your own photos from your original files, and confirm they are yours as you upload them.
How long will it take?
We do not promise a go-live time. Let us finish moving your products before you add your card: your 30-day trial starts when you add it.
Can I keep my own domain name?
Yes. Connect the web address your customers already know, and the security certificate is set up automatically.
Can I take my data with me if I leave?
Cancel any time, with no minimum term. A self-service “download my data” button is planned and is not live yet.
Will my customers lose their accounts?
Shopper accounts on FloristGrow belong to one shop only, so a customer registers on your shop separately. Customers on your old site would register again.
