An eFlora alternative: what the 7.5% costs, in pounds.
eFlora is the website service from Interflora British Unit. It charges a monthly fee plus a percentage of every order. FloristGrow charges a flat monthly fee and takes no commission on your sales. Here are both, with the working shown.
Prices and features checked 15 October 2026, from each company’s own public pages. Next check due 15 November 2026.
What eFlora offers
eFlora’s pricing page lists, for the sign-up fee: a design consultation, domain registration if needed, site build and product loading, including the Interflora catalogue, analytics setup, training and a marketing pack. For the monthly fee: domain and SSL renewal, hosting, software and design updates, reporting, an annual health check, support five days a week and a private Facebook group.
The per-sale fee, it says, covers merchandising, merchant fees through Worldpay, fraud monitoring and an order management tool. Its homepage lists click and collect and a choice of a managed or self-managed site. Its pages carry Interflora British Unit branding.

Its pricing page says the 7.5% is “Deducted from total order value including delivery/per order delivered”, so on its wording the fee applies to delivery charges too.
The sums
VAT is treated differently: eFlora’s figures exclude VAT. We do not charge VAT today; if we register for VAT, it will be added on top, with at least 30 days’ written notice. Stripe’s fees are the nearest comparable cost on our side. They do not include fraud cover: with FloristGrow, fraud and chargeback losses are yours; eFlora’s pricing page says it covers fraudulent orders.
| Online sales a month | eFlora: £95 + 7.5% | FloristGrow at £99, with Stripe’s fees | FloristGrow at £74.25, with Stripe’s fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| £1,000 | £170 plus VAT | £118 | £93.25 |
| £3,000 | £320 plus VAT | £156 | £131.25 |
| £5,000 | £470 plus VAT | £194 | £169.25 |
eFlora’s fees also pay for services we do not provide, such as a design consultation, registering your domain and loading the Interflora catalogue.
Working: eFlora is £95 plus 7.5% of sales. FloristGrow is £99 (or £74.25) plus 1.5% of sales plus 20p an order; at £50 an order, 20p an order is 0.4% of sales. At £5,000 a month that is £470 against £194, so eFlora costs more than twice as much on these assumptions. Over a year, £5,640 plus VAT against £2,328.
At very low sales eFlora comes out lower: on these assumptions it costs more than FloristGrow at £99 once your online sales pass about £71 a month. After that the gap widens with every order.
Use your own numbers. Your sales, your average order and your card mix change the answer. Add eFlora’s £150 sign-up fee in year one.
Features we could not find on eFlora’s public pages

Where eFlora is ahead of us
- Services around the site. Its fees pay for domain registration, product loading, support five days a week, reporting and an annual health check. With FloristGrow we create your shop and move your product text over from your current website for you, free; you set your rules and your look.
- Card fees and fraud cover are bundled. If you want one percentage and no separate card fees, that is what its 7.5% is. Its pricing page says fraud losses are covered; we do not cover them.
- Interflora’s name. Its pages carry Interflora British Unit branding, and the product loading includes the Interflora catalogue. FloristGrow has no wire-service connection.
- Track record. FloristGrow is new and has no track record to point to yet.
Before you move
Ask eFlora, in writing if you can: your notice period and what you owe until it ends; who owns your domain name and how to get it released; whether you can export your products, photos and customer list. We could not read eFlora’s terms of use, so we say nothing about them.
Moving to FloristGrow. We move the text. You add your own photos from your original files, and confirm they are yours as you upload them.
